Educare at Publicera
Posted on 2025-03-05The Educare team is very excited to announce the official launch of Educare’s integration into Publicera, the Swedish national digital platform for scholarly open access journals, managed by the National Library of Sweden (Kungliga biblioteket). This integration offers numerous advantages for both our readers and authors.
For readers, Educare is joining a diverse collection of high-quality journals from various fields. Articles will be published with immediate open access, ensuring that readers can access the latest research as soon as it is available. The platform's integration with search engines and databases enhances discoverability, making it easier for readers to find relevant research.
Educare authors will benefit from increased visibility, as publishing on Publicera ensures that research is widely disseminated and easily accessible, increasing the potential impact and citation of their work. Educare’s policy of no publication fees continues under this platform, allowing authors to publish their work without incurring any costs. The submission process is user-friendly, with the platform offering a streamlined and simplified workflow for authors. Publicera helps authors comply with open access mandates from research funders, ensuring that their work meets necessary requirements. Additionally, the National Library of Sweden ensures the long-term preservation of published articles, providing authors with confidence that their work will remain accessible in the future.
Publicera was launched in 2021 to support Sweden’s transition to an open access publishing system. With the addition of Educare, Publicera will host 39 journals, with at least four more set to join in the coming months.
At Educare, we are delighted to be part of this platform, which embodies all the positive qualities we stand for in academic publishing.
