Abstract

What do we be mean by ‘media literacy’? Concepts, definitions and meanings vary. People who speak of ‘media education’ often refer to the school and the role that it can play in order to media-educate children and young people. ‘Media literacy’ implies that we all must be media literate –not only children and young people, but also parents, school teachers and other media educators, as well as media professionals and politicians.
