Research ensures that development programmes respond to the realities of people. Sharing that research and knowledge effectively is critical to ensuring that what we know is acted upon. In this article, Andrew Chetley presents Healthlink Worldwide's work in support of the effective communication of research.

Andrew Chetley is Executive Director of Healthlink Worldwide, a specialist communication and information organisation that collaborates with over 50 partnerships across 30 countries to address the social, cultural and economic aspects of vulnerability to poor health, and to increase the effective use and impact of communication, information and knowledge to address public health issues.
