WALKING THE TIGHTROPE
Abstract
Reconciliation is not just what scholars and researchers have thought of, studied and written about, but also the expectations and thinking of those working with reconciliation in the field. Does sharing personal experiences with people from the other side of a conflict contribute to reconciliation? In this article I look at how theories and research on reconciliation and narrative fit into the reality of four organizations working with reconciliation in Bosnia- Hercegovina ten years after the end of the war.
